This study hasperformed a text and image analysis showing that the image colors, the differentspreads, landscape scenes and characters' placement, et cetera play a role in placingthe picture book in its concept.Tove Jansson used more than text and image to work out the story of theMoomintroll, Mymble and Little My, there are holes in the picture book that have animportant role, which the analysis will show.

Analysis of the theological and rhetorical functions of ????????? in First Peter builds on rhetorical methods, and predominantly the work of professor Lauri Thurén.

This master thesis is about the production of the record ?Brutus? with the band ?Trilobit?. Trilobit consists of the three musicians, myself, Stina Hellberg Agback on pedal harp, Simon Sva?rd on guitar and Karl Jansson on drums.During the production, I have analyzed different aspects of my own musicality and also the role of the pedal harp in jazz. I have found techniques that have simplified chromatic movements on the pedal harp, and also techniques that has developed the rhythmical aspect of my improvisation.I have also looked into my process in improvising and composing and developed new aspects, many thanks to the close collaboration with Simon Sva?rd..

Syftet med min uppsats är att granska Tove Janssons stilistiska drag i hennes sätt att skriva ur ett barns perspektiv. Utifrån mitt undersökningsmaterial vill jag belysa en stor förändring mot vuxenförfattarskapet i Tove Janssons sätt att skriva. Jag vill med med min analys utröna hur Tove Jansson gestaltar barnets upplevelse av tillvaron: det mytiska och magiska mitt i vardagen, spänningen mellan trygghet, skräck och den gränslösa fantasin. Min uppsats är uppdelad i två delar. I den empiriska analysen förklarar jag begrepp och termer ur kunskapsmässigt etablerade teorier, som är relevanta för min senare analys.

Genom att spela in Lars Janssons låtar samt en av mina egna, utforskar jag pianots roll i dessa olika sorters ECM-jazz kompositioner. Jansson låtar är oftast skrivna för en triokonstellation (piano, bas och trummor). I triokonstellation är det viktigt för pianisten att upprätthålla harmonik, rytmik och tema. Kompositionerna har oftast starka teman och pianot en ledande roll. Med min egen komposition ska jag försöka efterlikna Janssons kompositioner, samt undersöka ECMjazzens karaktäristiska kännetecken.

Uppsatsen belyser och analyserar postkoloniala drag i Peter Høegs författarskap, utifrån de två novellerna "Rejse ind i ett mørkt hjerte" och "Fortælling om et ægteskab" ur samlingen Fortællinger om natten från 1990. Syftet är att ta reda på vad som händer med den västerländska självbilden i en värld präglad av postkoloniala strukturförändringar..

Målet med denna undersökning har varit att ta fram lämpligt bibliotek i programspråket C för generering och parsning av JSON (JavaScript Object Notation). Biblioteket ska användas för att bygga ett nytt API mot Svenska Spels transaktionssystem som ska underlätta för klientutvecklare att anropa systemet. Undersökningen har begränsats till utvärdering två utvalda bibliotek, YAJL (Yet Another Json Library) och Jansson. För att kunna jämföra och analysera dessa har jag implementerat ett testprogram som mäter deras prestanda vid generering och parsning av ett antal utvalda JSON objekt. Jag har även undersökt biblioteken utifrån användarvänlighet och robusthet.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att tolka Janne i Peter Pohls Janne, min vän utifrån ett queerteoretiskt perspektiv. Genom att använda mig av queerteorins tankar om kön/genus, normalitet och identitet tror jag mig kunna ge en alternativ bild av Jannes liv. Mitt mål är att försöka hitta en bild som skiljer sig från den, så ofta förekommande i tidigare forskning, om flickan som måste klä ut sig till kille för att ha en chans till frihet. Istället kommer jag fokusera på hur Janne, i vänskapen med Krille och gänget, får möjlighet att skapa en identitet och ett liv på egna premisser..

The purpose of this essay is to examine what can be considered as obscene in the work of JoelPeter Witkin and Marc Quinn, what the similarities and differences are. The essay concerns thehuman body, the norms around it and the old vision of the ideal body. To get closer to myquestion I’ve been examine the meaning of anti-ideal, what it means and what kind of history ithas. The works I’ve been using to reach to my purpose are Marc Quinn’s sculpture Alison Lapper(2005) and Joel Peter Witkin’s photography Abundance (1997). Both of the works are taking theposition that use to belong to the classical beauty.

In Peter Weiss debut Fra?n o? till o? (1947) the ?I? travels from island to island as a castaway. The island here can signify, or work as a synecdoche for exile and the feeling of isolation that exile often induces. But the movement from island to island also implies a restless state: Peter Weiss shifting from painting to writing to filmmaking and theatre, from German to Swedish and then back to German. The years during exile and the years that followed the exile until his breakthrough in Germany with Schatten des ko?rpers des Ku?tchens (1960), Abschied von den Eltern (1961) and Fluchtpunkt (1962), were the formative years of Peter Weiss authorship.

The purpose of this examination is to identify how notions of Swedishness is created artistically, and from where these notions come. My method is to make a study on exhibition catalogues on the theme Swedishness/Nordism, with focus on the contemporary Swedish artist Peter Johansson. With a retrospect of his childhood in Dalecarlia, he investigates a Swedish iconography with it?s roots in national romanticism, which for more than one hundred years has been preserved and exploited of the tourist industry to market Sweden. It?s this monotonous iconography that Johansson deconstructs to make it appear like something else ? namely an iconography based on ethnic purity, which pushes away the foreign and protects the own.
